Voyage Report 29 June 2002

On Sat 29th June, we met the Balmoral at 2.00 on Southend Pier, for a cruise to Whitstable.

On the journey back the P.S.P.S members were invited to the bar for coffee, biscuits, and an enjoyable talk from Roddy McKee.

We also had the opportunity to visit the bridge.
We arrived back at Southend Pier after a very pleasant trip, to wish the Balmoral farewell on its journey back to London.
May I just mention, that Southend Pier Museum has an exhibition celebrating the Thames Pleasure Steamers since 1945.The Museum is open from 11am to 5pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays [and on Bank Holiday Mondays].It is worth a visit, Trevor.
