In Dry Dock 2005 - 1

On the 29th March 2005, The Balmoral was moved from
her winter berth at Bristol to Sharpness, the ship tied up in Sharpness dock
at Midnight that night, the crew stayed aboard the ship that night then the
ship was dry docked the following morning.
Having driven to Sharpness to collect Captain
Luke Davis (my brother) on the 30th March, I took these pictures.
Balmoral entered the dock at 8am on the morning of the 30th. While these
pictures were being taken, the dry dock was being pumped out.
Apologies for the
quality of the picture below, this was due to the appalling weather conditions
at the dock side that morning.
