The crankshaft is loaded to the truck for it’s journey to Manchester. We will see it’s return in around two months with all journals and pins ground true.
Much media interest has been shown since Waverley’s arrival. Following a radio interview by BBC Radio Norfolk with George Prior and Gordon Reid on Tuesday 5 November, BBC TV Look East arrived on site on Wednesday 6 and broadcast live from Waverley at 1.30pm. George Prior explained the role his company have played in the first phase rebuild and how delighted he was to win the contract for the completion phase. The camera then turned to Ian McMillan who explained the scope of work involved in the completion phase and the role of the P.S.P.S. and HLF as financiers.
