The leaving of Bristol

26th May. With a bit of cleaning, painting and polishing, the engine room should look as good as the outside of the ship.
The new mast was stepped today and Balmoral was warped out of Albion Dry Dock this afternoon, and once clear of the dry dock cill the first movements were sounded on the telegraphs, and the Grenaas put to use for the first time.
Sitting a bit lighter in the water (her draft is now less than 6 feet), and with the extra 400HP, she picks up her heels quite smartly when going ahead.
The Grenaas are much quieter than the Sirrons were, which may disappoint a few, but must be an improvement to passenger comfort.
    Best of luck to her!
